Activity Report. - Brian Reuwee
The National Cattlemen’s Foundation and the Chicago
Mercantile Exchange are awarding 20 $1,500
scholarships to students pursuing a career in the
beef industry. One recipient will receive airfare
and lodging to the Cattle Industry Annual Convention
and Trade Show in Nashville, Tenn., January 31 –
February 3, 2007. Entries must be postmarked by
October 10.
On Oct. 7, the Florida chapter and University of
Florida College of Agriculture and Life Science play
host to its 44th annual homecoming breakfast. The
event allows students, professionals and government
officials to meet and share their views on the
advancement of food, agriculture, natural resources

The Alumni Tailgate is a lunch and club fair for
alumni held annually by the College of Agriculture
and Life Sciences. Held during the NC State vs.
Akron game on September 9, the chapter set up an
informational display and greeted AZ alumni and
brothers from other chapters. The chapter was able
to share stories about what it has been doing, and
heard stories about how things used to be. - Tori

activities of Alpha Zeta designed to help
recruit new members.
NALC and Conclave
Join other Alpha Zeta members for the 2007 National
Agricultural Leadership Conference and 50th Biennial
Alpha Zeta Conclave. The three-day conference
features leadership workshops; AgTours of
Anheuser-Busch and Monsanto; and a Career/Internship
Fair.
