Banner contest
Chapters who are coming, don't forget your banner. Awards will be given for the best banner. This year's theme is "Planting Seeds for Tomorrow's Agricultural Leaders."
T-shirt exchange
Always a popular event, the T-shirt exchange is Thursday night. Bring an AZ- or ag-related T-shirt from your chapter or school to exchange with other members.
Passionate about Alpha Zeta?
Run for High Council! Four positions are up for election during the National Agricultural Leadership Conference and Conclave. Three have four-year terms. The fourth, student representative carries a two-year term. [ More ]
Alumni reception Saturday
The NALC is not just for students. Alumni are invited to attend a reception from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 9. The reception is free. RSVP to info@alphazeta.org by March 15.
Stay for the banquet
After the reception and honorary initiation, alumni are invited to join students, advisors and other guests for the Conclave Awards Ceremony and Banquet. AZ will recognize scholarship recipients and the winner of the Founder's Cup. Tickets are $45. Please register before March 15. [ Registration ]
Flight arrangements
The Wilson Chapter will run a shuttle from Des Moines International airport to Ames on Thursday, April 7, and to the airport on Sunday, April 10. Please include your arrival and departure times on your registration. Travel time from Des Moines to Ames is approximately 45 minutes. Plan flight times accordingly.
