NALC is affordable
AgCareers.com sponsoring travel award

North Carolina sweeps awards NALC 2006Besides registration being only $250, AgCareers.com is sponsoring travel awards for chapters attending the National Agricultural Leadership Conference and 50th Biennial Alpha Zeta Conclave in St. Louis, March 29-31, 2007. Monetary awards of at least $500 will be given in three categories:
  • Go Big: chapters bringing more than five members
  • Quality Crew: chapters bringing up to five members
  • First Time in a Long Time: chapters attending for the first time in three or more years.
To qualify your chapter must submit an AgCareers.com Travel Award application, registrations and payment by March 1.

Students discuss Iowa State graduate programsEmployers will be well-represented at Alpha Zeta's second annual Career/Internship Fair Saturday, March 31.

Graduate and professional programs from area universities will also be in attendance. Bring your resume and dress for success.

Chapters should send a delegate to represent it at the Conclave. Important issues are up for a vote including:

  • Initiation of second-semester freshmen
  • Defining membership requirements for transfer students.
  • Election of Four High Council positions including Student Representative.
