Professional Dairy Heifer Growers Association chooses Drake & Company

SUTHERLAND , IA – The Professional Dairy Heifer Growers Association (PDHGA) has selected Drake & Company as its new association management company and will move its headquarters to the association campus in Chesterfield .

“We are excited about the vision and concepts of Drake & Company and look forward to growing our professional association,” said Vickie Franken, PDHGA president and a dairy heifer grower from Sutherland , Iowa . “More than 47 companies submitted proposals. A selection committee reviewed the proposals and presentations. And, the PDHGA board unanimously selected Drake & Company .”

Dave Drennan will serve as the new PDHGA Executive Director and remain as the Executive Director of the Missouri Dairy Association. Steve Drake is the PDHGA's CEO. Joan Schepis will be the PDHGA financial manager and Sherry Erker will serve as its Member Services Manager. Drake said the company is seeking a program coordinator to serve both PDHGA and the Missouri Dairy Association.

PDHGA has been incredibly successful as a startup association and are perfectly positioned for growth as they build for the future.

PDHGA's Tenth Annual National Dairy Calf & Heifer Conference will be held in Visalia , California , March 22-24, 2006.
