Drake elected IAAMC treasurer

NASHVILLE, TENN. (Aug. 22, 2005) – Steve Drake, president of Chesterfield, Mo.-based Drake & Company , has been elected treasurer of the International Association of Association Management Companies (IAAMC).

Founded in 1964, IAAMC's 180 association management company members (AMCs) work with over 2,000 associations with annual budgets exceeding $1 billion ( US ). These organizations serve approximately three million members. AMCs employ over 3,100 association management staff professionals.

Drake & Company, located in the association campus in Chesterfield, serves as the headquarters and staff for eight associations: the Agricultural Media Summit; the Alpha Zeta Foundation; the American Academy on Physician and Patient; the Employer Health Network; the Fraternity of Alpha Zeta; the Midstates Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association; the Midwest Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association; and the National Christmas Tree Association.
